New best ET (1/8 mile) last night

Had a helluva time at the local 1/8 mile track last night....my 2020 Camaro 2SS went a best of 7.29 at 98mph. Picked up a full 2 tenths and over 2 mph with only a swap from a Pray Performance-ported LT1 intake manifold to a ported (by myself) LT2 intake manifold. 1.73 60ft time on that hit as well, on stock front wheels and 20x11 Vordestein rear wheels with 29" tall DRs (305/35-20)...hopefully when I can finally get ahold of a set of VMS drag wheels and run a shorter 305/45-17 DR it should go easy 7.0s-7.10s and possibly real low 11s at a 1/4 mile track.

Nice job. Those are similar to my Vet times in St Louis at the Street Car Takeover. I'm guessing he has an A10 looking at the 60 ft times.

King, they are 305 35 19s. Man they are awesome and drove them 330 miles round trip and switched when I got home to my street rears. I think they can easily handle 700 rwhp. I wanna do a ported intake and TB plus tweak the tune a little and might get in the 10s. This car has really reacted to small mods from 12.06@116 bone stock except for the DRs, added E85 (E70) and tune then went 11.58 and then the long tubes/xpipe plus tweaking the tune again and went the 11.18. Never thought that would happen.

Yea I like the Nittos. I have been running the 305/30/20 555r's for couple years now. I don't go to the track but I bought a dragy and went to Mexico for some street pulls and ran:

60ft 1.8
1/8 7.08 @ 104.7
1/4 10.81 @ 131.2

These Nittos are shot after 7k miles but still did decent. I am going to try the 555r 2's next. I would be pretty content with 1.7 60ft's on the street with a 20" wheel.

Congrats! Now if I could just find a LT2 intake that isn't overpriced!
