Which 5th gen V6 are you talking about? The LFX 6-sp manual was rated at 5.9 secs from 0-60. That's only 6/10ths slower than an equivalent LGX 6-sp manual. However, a few on Camaro5 have been able to dip down into the mid 5's with cold ambient air and 93 octane.

Unfortunately, from what I've read on here, most LGX owners (both manual and automatic) have not been able to duplicate GM's hero runs of 5.1-5.3 secs from 0-60. Most seem to be stuck in the mid 5's. I don't know why that is, though.
