Fog lights

I have a 2012 camaro 2ss 45th anniversary. I am pretty sure it comes with the rs package because it has fog lights and halo lights. I was wondering what kind of fog light comes in them. I know I can just check but I don't have the car atm because it is getting a tune. I would just like to order them now so I have them when I get the car back. I know the rs package and non rs package have different bulb types. Thank you so much

I believe for the '12 its 5202. I have a bastard early 2010 so it uses the harder to find p13W

When you have the RS package the lamps aren't fog lamps they are daytime running lights.

I just replaced mine yesterday from Diode Dynamics. You need the P13W twist lock bulb. The 5202 is a push lock style with a different plug for non RS cars.

Chevy really got it wrong on those models. I have a 2013 SS/RS. i had a heated exchange with parts guy. over if i needed fog lights or DTRL'S i lost with egg on my face. the camaro i had 2013 do not have any fog lights. if you switch to LED'S they are brighter than the stock lamp. you might be interested in the patch cable that allows the DTRL'S to stay on after dark when you auto lights come on. did i say chevy got it wrong.

I had originally just swapped out the factory DRL bulbs for LEDs. They are brighter, but the housing doesn't focus and direct the light, so you end up getting flashed a lot.

After I had a bulb failure, I simply upgraded to a much better light: https://www.camaro5.com/forums/showt...ght=fog+lights
