Mamo Motorsports
Anyone used Mamo motorsports for their throttle bodies ? He gets a lot of love on the camaro 6 forum and was wondering if anyone here has one of his ported throttle bodies. After a throttle body and ported intake I’m full Bolt ons that’s why I’m looking into one and a\the better throttle response.

I don't have one personally, but I don't think you can go wrong with Tony Mamo. He's one of the foremost experts on flowing air through an engine.

I have also heard the same, but have no personal experience with his work.

How is he compared to bo white? Does he have them in stock already? What’s the price and turn around time. Any proven dyno numbers etc.

He has them in stock right now and is coming out with a V2 in a month. The reg one is $465 shipped and the new version may be $100 more but it’s looking like it will gain a extra 5 rwhp and trq be the original version

Bumping this for an update:
Bad news: Spoke with Tony re the throttle body and he says it’s going to take a few more months to get the program/jig/fixture designed properly to cut the shaft down on the 90mm throttle body. The good news: he still offers the regular port job on the 90mm tb and he has another 90mm tb that’s nearly identical to the GM unit but with a 30% thinner shaft so you get some extra CFM at WOT. Aftermarket tb is the least expensive option as well. The aftermarket tb outflows his ported GM piece (w/ std shaft) because of the thinner shaft. Not sure what you leave on the table between the thinner shaft and cut shaft, but I’d imagine it’s not much and that would only be seen at WOT. I’m still trying to decide on what route to take, but I’m leaning towards the aftermarket tb option. You still get extra CFM due to a thinner shaft, it’s warrantied, and it’s the least expensive option
