mishimoto catch can install question
Hey guys so I bought a mishimoto catch can for my 2012 SS and need some help. I have the pcv valve on the drivers side valve cover that goes to the intake manifold and the fresh air inlet from the intake tube to the passenger side valve cover. My question is what goes to the in side of the catch can the drivers side pcv or the intake manifold vacuum port? I was under the assumption that the in side of the catch can would be the pcv side and the out side would be the intake manifold vacuum side but I'm not sure.

The Mishi catch can is designed to replace the small "U" line that connects the valley cover vent and the intake manifold, just behind the throttle body.
That's where most oil vaper gets into the intake system. I also saw that vent that goes into the intake tube and designed up a bracket to hold a second catch can to handle that vent. I have had that second catch can on for over a year now and I have only seen a little oil in it once. The main catch always has oil in it when I check. Seems that not much vapor is vented through that PCV vent at all.

Me engine doesn't have the u shaped hose because I don't have the vent tube on the valley plate. Mine comes from the drivers side valve cover to the intake manifold.
