It's more tools and patience than skill, but you do need to know how the pin is being held in so you can insert the correct tool to release it. Otherwise, $20 from RockAuto did not seem like a bad deal.

I agree 100%. Just for the heck of it, you might want to jump that wire & make sure the light blinks. Hopefully the little nuisance didn't get behind your bumper cover & do any wiring damage.

I just purchased the one from the link that Mr_Draco sent me.
I found it on EBay for $20 . Hopefully when it gets here it all works out. I’ll keep you guys posted on how it works out and if I still need help.. Thanks again for everyone’s help.. |

Updating you guys on the wire connector, I got the part today and installed it using heat shrink butt connectors. It worked perfectly.. thank you acutron42 and Mr_Draco for helping find the part..
