Yeah no kidding not good. But the rubbing on the line was very minor and I now remember on my 2016 Camaro SS with a High Ram had the same issue. Don’t no if it’s the change of manifolds or just scraping it when I pull it off/on. Either way the plastic sleeve is enough to protect it from past experience with High Ram.

Reroute of fuel line on top off intake manifold.

I decided to put the fuel line behind the intake manifold instead of leaving it draped across the top of the manifold. You will need to buy two fuel line from Summit or find/make a longer one and do it with out the E85 sensor or inline fuel filter with a barb. If you have E85 your half way there and if you don’t have E85 just get a inline fuel filter with barbs. This is not for everyone but if your like me and can’t stand that fuel line on top this is possibly what you should do or do your own modify fuel line set up. You need to take the clips off the fuel lines on the passenger side near the firewall so you can push it over freely. I zip tied the E85 sensor and the fuel lines/E85 wires. I also shaved the back portion of the intake manifold on top for an easier fit. I basically have to much time on my hands. Lol.

Ideally I would like the sensor bolted to the firewall. Will have to look for a solution. Clamp?

Side note:
(One thing, once you vision your set up and routing of lines and once you put them on the sensor you can’t get them off due to location of sensor body parts. At least I can’t get the removal tool to slide over because of sensor design. Over the inline fuel filter looks fine. Anyone know how to remove the E85 lines on sensor please let me know. )

I will be checking the fuel line this weekend and will likely add the reroute to the list

This is really helpful. I will be installing this weekend. Have the LT2 IM, 95mm throttle body adapter and LT5 95 MM Katech ported throttle body. Do you need to apply any kind of sealant on the paper gasket or just put it on and bolt it down? Also for the extended fuel lines I assume the in line filter just connects the two lines together? Sorry for NOOB questions

Original I did mention RTV before with another member on the forum because of a possible vacuum leak. Mine turn out to be the air intake which I tighten down. The paper gasket should be fine. Yes the e85 or fuel filter connects the two lines together. I recommended the fuel filter with barbs to guys that didn’t have an e85 sensor in order to tuck the line safely behind the intake manifold.

Small update on E85 sensor.

When I purchased the braided hoses for the E85 sensor and put them on I didn’t pick the right angle or end of the hose to connect to the sensor in order to hide the sensor behind the manifold the best possible way.

I have the tool to disconnect the line from the stock set up but could never figure out the disconnecting method on the sensor. I wanted to reroute my lines but couldn’t till I found this tool online.

I thought I would share this info to anyone that’s in the same boat as me.

Going to make another separate post on general forum area.

anyone know what size the nipple is on the top right of the intake manifold? I'd like to get a right angle adapter so the hose isn't at such an awkward angle.
