Agree. I ordered mine without a sunroof because a) I personally don't like sunroofs, b) it ruins the roof line, and c) why pay $1k for something I don't want or even like? Nearly all the new ZL1s for sale at the time I ordered mine had sunroofs.

I couldn't agree with you more. The 21 TBD tomorrow was ordered with the sunroof, PDR and CF insert. I could live without all three. The problem is as I see it that the ordering process is iffy at best with the chip shortage. My local dealer doesn't have an allocation and who knows when I would take delivery if they did.

I have looked high and low and pretty much all of the ZL1's I like have sunroofs. I may be overruled. My wife likes the idea of a sunroof. Our 2007 Mustang GT felt like you were in a cave. Our C7 was a little better. She likes the idea of having some extra light. I may loose this one but I'll get the car!

I didn’t want a sunroof either and that’s why I bought the 2017 2 years ago. I couldn’t afford new and it was priced right for a 2017 that had less than 500 miles. Basically it was a new 2 year old ZL1.

This morning when I mentioned the one I’m looking at didn’t have the sunroof she says, “That doesn’t matter.” So ours are polar opposites. I liked having one & most nice days & nights I open it.

In the last 10 vehicles I’ve owned, only 2 didn’t have it, so I’ve come accustomed to it. Even my 98 Blazer had one.

One thing I do acknowledge is the reduced headroom for a helmet. I had to lower my seat to keep my helmet from getting my head stuck against the headliner.

Driving with a sunroof on a warm summer night is nice, the main thing is I either forget it's there or don't want to be bothered opening and closing it. I kind of like the looks of it but it's not a big deal either way and I don't think it significantly impacts chassis integrity. It's interesting the people who are hard "no"

In the end I decided to go with the new one. The inflated price for the used one was too much to overlook.

It was in stock. Satin steel metallic, Carbon Fiber hood insert, sunroof, PDR, upgraded infotainment with NAV. I have the roto-fab CAI ready to go and I'm debating on upgrading the exhaust.

Aside from the color, that’s one I would have liked to find.

Oh well, I’ll have to live with my stripper with just PDR & NAV.

I kept my battery charger & car cover so there is that.

I do think I will like the added headroom with a helmet on vs a sunroof.

no sunroof if you are going to track it gives you extra room and doesnt ruin the cool roof
