Is this a good price 2019 ZL1 A10 1580 miles
Like the title says my local dealer has a Satin Steel 2019 ZL1 with 1580 miles. They sold the car new. It has the carbon fiber hood insert, PDR, black gas cap and navigation. The only mods are tinted windows. They’re asking 68,900 for it. I realize prices are inflated now. I’m wondering given what I’ve seen a lot of you guys have paid if this is a good price. I’ve considered ordering one but who knows when I’d see the car.
What do you guys think? I really appreciate your response. |

I would say that is about right in todays market for a 2019. I would want to have a decent trade in before paying that however so you don't eat all of the inflated price.

They’re giving me a great trade for my car. $1,000 more than any other dealer.

I paid a lot less in April but the important point is : Do you enjoy the car? You go around ONCE....make the most of it...

Good point. I’d like to pay less but as you said, you only go around once.

Just remember, inflated prices on used cars is going to return to normal at some point, which means resale/trade-in value will return to norm as well. If you are taking a loan out for the car, most likely you will be upside down on the loan for awhile, depending on how much you are borrowing. My point, if you are prepared to hang onto the car for years....go for it. If this is just a passing fad for you and planning on moving on to another car in a year or two, might want to reconsider!
Either way, good luck which ever way you go. |

Go for it. You can always make more money. You can’t make more time to enjoy a great ride.
Tell the dealer to change the oil, filter, and differential fluid and they have a deal.

$69k is darn near the MSRP of that car new. But, if you're offsetting that with a much higher trade-in value then it could be mostly a wash.

I understand the concern for items that cost more than you “would like” to pay. But at the end of the day, if you choose to buy it…are in love with it…you will soon forget that you payed more than others have paid or what you would like to pay. (Assuming you can afford the price as is). I’m sure I overplayed for my truck a few years ago, but I have long forgotten that because I love the truck. Good luck!
