Texas Speed LT Headers with Borla Atak exhaust?
Recently I’ve been looking into which Headers and Exhaust i should get for my Stock 14 SS L99, I think I’m going with the Texas Speed LT headers with Off road Connection pipes , but I’m curious to see if anyone has paired that with the Borla Atak Exhaust? Because I saw a video on YouTube of a stock 2012 Ss With stock headers and The Cat Back Borla Atak Exhaust. https://youtu.be/yaguM6NGmJM
I’m new to adding mods and just want to know what’s the best Exhausts out there. The link I posted is the video and I love the sound of the Atak. Thanks |

If you want LOUD then that will be a good combo. The Atak is Borla's loudest option and catless long tube headers is also loud.
My suggestion is check out someone local who has that setup and see if you like it. YouTube does only so much to present a quality exhaust video.

I have stainless power headers with hi-flo cats, resonator delete to X pipe, with Borla Atak axel back. Let me tell you... WOT is ridiculous. Cruising speed is music to my ears. Cold starts sounds amazing as well. I like being able to be obnoxious or subtle. Just a matter of how fast you smash the gas. Good luck and enjoy the ride!

That would definitely be an aggressive set up. Borla Atak is one of the louder systems out there and adding long tube headers will add volume and rasp.
As far as the best out there? Well that's subjective. Find a system you think sounds good. If you like and want it louder add some long tubes or if you just want the power gains headers are a must. When you're ready to order stop by our site and use code CAMARO5. Or give us a call and we'll make sure you get the best price. |

I have heard it and it is definitely loud. It sounds good but it can get fairly raspy. I do like it though.
Personally, I prefer deeper tones. You best bet it to listen to as many as you can with similar setups to what you plan on having.

I have this setup but with cats. The only time i really think it is too loud is on a cold start. Other than that its not too obnoxious. I switched over from a borla s type as well.

It will be about as loud as it gets. I would recommend the S-type actually. Still loud but more controlled. Call us @ 610-628-1563 for a great deal.

I had the S type on mine and I liked it. I went for a ride in a friends 2012 camaro with the same set up as mine but had the attack, and I thought it was to loud for me.
