Borla S-Type or QTP Cutouts?

I recently got my 6th gen 1ss and it didn't come with the NPP. I'm wondering what option would be better for anyone that currently owns a borla or cutouts.
Thanks!!

Those are two drastically different options -
cutouts will be mega-loud and are gonna be more of an install in terms of time/cost whereas the Borla S type is gonna provide great tone/sound and no drone and will be a simple install that you could do yourself. I'd go Borla (have Atak myself).

Do you have the NPP Borla Atak? Or Non-NPP?

Yeah I wish I got the NPP but then I see some people get rid of it so I'm like oh well haha.

Love my full Borla 2nd cat delete X pipe and Stype NPP. Best sound ever IMO. Cutouts sound dirty and sloppy to me. Perhaps I appreciate a little more refinement than others though.

Just my subjective views....

I've heard some cars with cutouts and its just too loud. I think the S-type is the best option for non-NPP axle back. The Borlas do not drone in 8 cylinder mode. I installed ATAK on my non-NPP and I think its too loud at mid and full throttle. If I could do it again I would go for S-type. The car starts and runs loud for first minute and then quiets down when idle comes down. When you are just coasting and driving slow the exhaust is very tame. But when you get on it, the ATAK gets really loud. Also, 4 cylinder mode is much more annoying when you change your exhaust. When the valves close in 4 cylinder the car sounds weird and to me it feels like it vibrates. That is the only real drawback to the aftermarket setup. I'm not sure if others have this problem with their exhaust.

Yeah I've seen many people say the same about getting the S-Type instead of the ATAK. Do you or anyone else reading this think getting the NPP without the valves (it fits for non-NPP) is worth it? I wanna have quad tips bc it just looks so good but I don't know if its worth it.

Right now, Im trying to decide what to do with my Hooker Blackheart cat back on my NON NPP ss. I like the sound outside but the interior vibration and drone is terrible.
Id like to have something adjustable like the NPP so I have been looking into the QTP Screamer axleback mufflers.

I know some people are doing quad exhaust on non-NPP but you need to change the rear fascia. I'm pretty sure it comes unpainted and installing it is not as simple as it should be. I though about this but now you're definitely spending more than $1k.

They can't just cut it and make it fit?
