PHASE.2 MODS - Please Help

Hey guys... current mods below in signature.
I was wondering how far guys are going on stock fuel systems and a JMS only...

I am planning on a cam package with 38% fuel lobe + Katech ported blower and Katech 103mm TB...

Question is... and assuming i have more room... is it better to add boost via 15% lower puller (with ATI + Green Belt) or increase my ethanol content.

The "cam" package will include ARP studs + MM catch can + Katech VVT delete + C5R chain + 160 stat + blower thermal blanket.

Thoughts on how else to maximize my stock fuel system, or make this build more complete?

It looks like you've got Ted doing your tuning remotely. Who is doing your mechanical work?

I plan to do the work myself. I have one remote forum member that has offered to help with moral support (he is doing this now), and another forum member an hour north who has offered himself and his LT mechanic friend if needed. This is gonna be fun

Add the big gulp and think about cooling. Do some more research on doing upper and lower pully. And you haven't mentioned a TCM tune to use the extra power. Something more like a DSX low side kit other than the jms might be better. What lifters you going with? Just my random thoughts.

Hey Smokin19... Looks like your build sheet is exactly where im heading

I do not know what a TCM tune is... TED at JRE is doing my remote tuning... I am a manual car if for some reason the TCM was for the trans. As for lifters, i dont have those spec'd yet... was going to go with Ted's recommendation. I am really just trying to identify the best value adders while the engine is out of the car... like an ATI + Lower Pulley + SC Porting + Thermal Blanket...
I know the sky is the limit with a DSX low side, and high side pump, but I am trying to find out what the limit is for the stock system with JMS...

What are your thoughts? also, what do you think the most cost effective cooling mods are? keep in mind, this is not a track car... just fun around the street...

How much power do you think is left on the table if I dont do the big gulp?

I'm sure Ted can direct you in the right direction in terms of best parts for your application but would be interested to know what lifters he recommends. TCM tune wouldn't be needed as your m6, that's for a10 transmission. I know you say you aren't tracking the car but I've read about issues running an aux pump, especially when running low on fuel but also in terms of when it kicks on and off in tandem with the in tank pump. A lot of people are using them with no complaints so not sure

My mistake not seeing 1LE in your sig. With the 103 and Kong porting this car needs to breath, tune will come out better for a few bucks more.

IMO your cam package should include cam, lifters, rocker arms, valve springs, retainers, intake/exhaust valves, p/p heads, and probably a few others. Do all of it at one time.

It will, cam + valve train upgrades… I’ll refine that part of the build with Ted this week… what’s everyone opinion of max RWHP with the JMS boost a pump and cam as the only fuel system boosters? I’ve heard 800rwhp +/- ?

Does that sound right?

Forget the Katech port and get a Kong X port. Greg does the absolute best porting.

IMO, Skip the JMS and put a real low side in. You’ll be able to run anything without the low side losing pressure.

Thanks... but the JMS is already installed.

I believe my high side is the current limiting factor...

So I am just curious if I add the cam / ported blower + 103mm + 15% lower... and still run E50 blend... where the system will stand? I am guessing those will put me around 725-750rwhp

Will the low side now be the limiting factor at that point?
If so... at what power level?

If the JMS will get me to 750rwhp, i think i will be ok / happy with that for now. Then i will know that phase.3 will need a lowside and more boost or E.
