The article states the Camaro will end in 2023 as a 2024 MY. So does that mean partial MY 2024 production, basically just continuing the 2023 production run a few months and calling the last few produced 2024s?

Going back to the consistent 2016-2018 style would be just fine and basically free That aside, any electrical or material body changes are pretty unlikely.

Don't forget about these designs from GM. Now how about this car with a flat plane crank LT6 with a 6 speed manual or the Blackwing LT4 will be a nice upgrade for the last model year. Heck we might as well add the Z/28 badges while we are wishing! Seriously, I'm waiting on a '22 ZLE but I won't drive it much until I see if any final (real) production enhancements find their way onto the last Camaro. We'll see.

Whoever is buying a last year Camaro isn't considering a Cadillac Blackwing instead. They'll be making Cadillacs for a while longer - send the Camaro out with a bang!

Trust me, I agree but GM isn't about that for the most part. Would be kind of odd though to have the last versions of the Camaro with more HP than the last versions of the Corvette. I can't help think that GM has something in store for the Vette, so that it goes out with a bang, thus leaving the Camaro to twist in the wind.

Yeah but I mean who cares, isn't this the last year for the Blackwing anyway?

I actually looked into a CT5 BW but most of the dealers I've spoken to want 15k over MSRP and others no allocations and still want 10k over.

It's just a function of who at GM \ Chevrolet is leading the Camaro team at the time. If Al O. and the 5th gen ZL1 team hasn't input, the Camaro will be sent off with the proper, well deserved performance retirement model. Not with just stickers and badges. Start planning now and make the 2024 Camaro Z28 Blackwing 6 speed manual our farewell Camaro. I mean until the eCamaro 4 door comes out in 2026.....sad really but it's just business. I hope GM does a little advertising and sponsoring of the Camaro brand in the 7th generation.
