We used to make a lot of things. Then, greedy shareholders and never happy corporate types showed up to ruin it all. The labor got shipped to where the people are the most miserable so the cost could be as low as possible. Great. We’ll played.

I contacted my local dealer here about the ZR2. This is a large dealership here... Here is what he said...
The release dates of 2022 Silverado's are all very unclear at this point. Due to the worldwide shortage in microchips, we have barely seen a truck come through the dealership the last few months and are not expecting that to change for months to even years. The best estimates we're seeing so far is Spring for the ZR2, and the limited amount that we see will be hard to get hands on. If the processor problem persists the way it has been. I'll do my best to keep you posted as we start to get a more clear picture of when they will arrive. |

My 2SS was built last week. I have been told my delivery date is 1 Oct but I am not overly optimistic about that but am hopeful.

I would imagine they would have a much larger rodent problem in an actual field than they would in a parking lot. Those buying a 2021 might want to take the time to do a thorough inspection of the engine bay for droppings and nesting material, as well as chewed wires, before signing on the dotted line...

Just quit beating around the bush and sell the entire outfit to Honda, Toyota, VW or some company that can actually build cars and get them out the door.
Or just start building all electric now and take the shortcut to bankruptcy. Ford needs to follow this advice as well. |

Ford and GM should move them all within the metro boundaries of SF, CA. New Section 8 housing everyone... come and get it! More government subsidy for the automakers. |

Your car is built which is great! However, there is a big drive shortage right now, plus the back log of 2021s needing to ship out. Shipping is the issue in regards now to taking awhile to get delivery!
