Agreed...I was being generous.

Stock seats removed- 80lbs, 110lb with race seat

Drop suit case muffler- 40lbs and more like 60lbs if you run dumps after the headers.

Light Battery- 40lbs

Aero space front brakes- 55lbs

Drag pack- this varies a lot on wheel selection but I would say anywhere from 50-120lbs.

So yea that is more like 265lbs on the low end and more then likely 300+ with a full drag pack and skinnies up front.

Just to paint a clear picture of how much of a difference air and weight make. Zac's car mentioned in the OP ran 6.5 @ 107mph in the 1/8 the other night with 360lbs added back and 1600DA. That is 7mph and 3 tenths slower in the 1/8mi compared to the 6.2 @ 114 1/8 9.6 @ 142 1/4 run.

Exactly. That’s probably a 10.3-10.4 second run vs 9.6 stripped out. Nearly a full second. And 1600 DA is not even bad. I know @steelheadrob normally has to run in 4000 DA air.

Did he say how he added 360 pounds back into the car? I mean, if we guess that he left the passenger seat and rear seat in (~80), left the suitcase on (~40), and left the stock front wheels on (~45), that still would not be even close to 360. I realize that you were just passing on a claim that someone else has made, just wondering.

Brett himself made that claim with the track slips. My guess is part of that is the driver too. The record pass was not made with the owner of the car who is 330lbs. SO basically the record run was with light driver and the basic weight mods vs heavy driver with the car back to full weight. Brett never fully disclosed all the info he was just basically saying what 360lbs and average air does.

2019 is tunable. I believe it’s the 2020-up T93 that is not tunable.

I can't confirm this, but I believe the way HP Tuners is allowing us to reflash the T87A and other 2017+ stuff through TIS web, may eventually go away if they decide to "fix" it. I don't really see how they are doing it now. I think they are leaving it open as long as they can just because they know if they lock it out its bad for their brand image, but unfortunately we are such a small minority and the do gooders, who want to be controlled and told what to do and what's best for their safety, outweights us.

I'm using this one. 5.75 lbs, if you need a charger, you'll need to purchase a specific charger (CTEK) from AG along with car terminal adapters ($100 for both). Also need to figure out how to mount in stock battery location (not too hard; used 8mm all thread and a flat bar; glued sandpaper to floor for traction). Four terminals is handy for attaching car cables to two and battery charger to the other two. Charger cable has a pigtail with disconnect that you can leave attached to battery.
