Since I trailer the car, I typically have 55gal drums that I bring to a weekend event. Most tracks have fuel pumps, so when you get off track you can fill up.
Whatever works I guess.... |

The hobby is already expensive enough. Paying double for fuel is what I am trying to avoid. I am allowed to leave the track and gas up. I can only do 2 sessions now on 1 tank of gas and the time between is tight at that time.

I'm not being a smart ass.
Option 1: Go to a local station to the track after the 2nd track session. Option 2: I take two 5-gallon Eagle Safety cans and a long funnel. It can make a mess. I bag the full cans in heavy duty trash bags to keep my car from smelling like gas. This $5 Walmart funnel will fit the capless fuel tank without the "emergency" part from GM. https://www.walmart.com/ip/FloTool-S...unnel/23591340 Eagle Safety Cans https://www.amazon.com/Eagle-UI-50-F...=eagle+gas+can

don't push the hose filler all the way into the hose clamp. It will enter the fuel filler and can be tricky to get back out |

On casual track days I just leave the track, go fill up and come back. |

5 Gallon jugs, $10 HF transfer pump and funnel from trunk ?
HF pump moves about gallon per minute and is easy to cycle on/off. Haven't used one for fuel, but does great job for aquarium water changes.

Use the 6 gallon tanks and the pump below. 2 D cell will pump many gallons. No mess , no heavy lifting. Used this at the track with My M6 SS on E85.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 There may be better ones out there now......
