acs makes nice parts but so much $$$ lol wanted the rear wing and wicker bill for awhile but cant really justify it for something so simple and easy as a rear wing

I am planning to go with the same combination.

I have the C7 side skirts coming and I like the ACS ZL1 splitter better just because it sits higher up on the bumper. Looks better to me that way. I just wish the ACS stuff wasn't so expensive.

I have the Street Scene splitter right now but the paint on it is so beat up I want to get the ACS ZL1 splitter and get PPF on it before I install it so it doesn't look beat up in a few months. Street Scene splitter is nice but I hate how it uses tape. I guess I just prefer screws or rivets to hold this kinda stuff. More stable that way.

I know this is old... BUT, I just got my C7 Carbon side skirts. Did you use 3M double sided tape on the top at all?

Thanks in advance!

I know I'm late to the thread, but was that 480 painted or unpainted? I see them all around the 800s painted.

We carry both at overkillautogarage.com. both are good products but personally prefer the ACS

Roby, I order the C7 Carbon in Satin Black Finish - which apparently matched the 1 LE perfectly. Their price is at $454, but without any PROMO codes plus delivery it jumped to about $540... which is still much cheaper than the other ones out there...

You can find a couple of people who have already installed them (with pics and vids) on Facebook Page 6th Gen Camaro 1LE...

I have the C7 Carbon side skirts. They are satin black to supposedly match the satin on the 1LE. I can tell you first hand with both myself and my buddy that also has a 1LE and snagged the same skirts, that these do not match the 1LE satin very well at all. On top of that, the texture is very rough to the touch. Just be forewarned when you purchase these. While they are sufficient and satisfy the need for side skirts, I will likely get them wrapped in satin black to match the trim on the 1LE. Although I’ll likely have to get them sanded down, first.

I'm definately interested in the c7 carbon ones because from everything I hear they are the 2nd best ones quality wise around and the price is the best. However the only reason I asked about the ACS is because if I could get those for under 500$ I would go that route. I feel that their plastic is sturdier than the c7 carbons fiberglass and I heat you only drill on the underside of the rocket panel with the acs vs under and on the slanted part of the rocket panel with the c7 carbon ones (or so I hear lol).

Went with C7 carbon myself. Didn't like the way ACS didn't come up to meet the body line crease in rear of the rocker like the C7's do and they were much more cost-effective.

I have the ACS front splitter, I got the primered one and had my paint shop paint it, it was cheaper going that route than getting one already painted and if something happened before it got here then you would have to send it back, I used the existing screws and used the pop rivets provided and it is solid, also it will clear most if not all those parking curbs, but I still don't get too close, I have 6 3/8" on the outside for clearance and 7 1/8" in the middle.
