Radio stays on?
2020 2SS 1LE
I can’t say I really paid attention before but I thought the radio turned off when I shut it off and opened the driver door. Lately it stays on for at least 5 mins after I leave the car and lock it. I don’t know how long as I haven’t timed it. Am I crazy and it’s always done this or is it a glitch? |

Yep, it's a glitch. All 3 of my vehicles, (see signature), the radios turn off immediately when you open the Driver's side door.

It just did some auto update. Maybe that will fix it.

I just bought a new 2020 1SS 1LE. My radio stays on with the key out and the driver's door opened, too. So we're saying this is a glitch? Also, the car can do automatic updates over the air?

FWIW, my car did an update to itself soon after I posted the above, and now the radio shuts off when the car is shut off and I open the door. I assume that is normal, since that's how other new cars seem to work.

Since I havent driven or started my car for a while due to winter. Just got it out this week. Now my car is doing this same thing, where I get out and the radio was staying on. Again did two updates, hopefully thats what the issue was. At first though it did not ask to do the update.
