GT350 Vooblew vs Flatbed

First track day with new 2019 SS 1 LE. Black GT350 owner talking crap about Camaros before the first session... only to blow up (min 3:34) and cut the session short so the flatbed could drag his junk home. Classic. Hmmm... I wonder, do GT350 twins come with track warranty?

I'm assuming you had a chance to speak with this guy before and after the session. And I'm guessing he was a bit of a hot shot before the session but not so much afterwards. Did he really have twin turbos? And what exactly caused the engine failure? More details would be cool. Awesome vid BTW!!

I thought he meant twins as in the gt350 and gt350r.

If so yes they do and I believe it is very similar to Ford's.

Absolutely. He was the poster child for all that is wrong with being a diehard fanboy. To clarify no turbos, just 350 and 350R. I'm lazy so twins. Not sure what went wrong and normally I feel bad for anyone that has issues on track, not in this case though.

What did he have to say? These Camaro's are way better handling cars than mustangs. The 1LE SS with way les power is right on a Shelby GT350

The driver came by before the first session just going on about how great Mustang/Shelby cars are and how Camaro isn't as fast, how great the aftermarket is for Mustang and Camaro sales are terrible and are behind Mustang and Challenger. My response was yep and on track, you can reverse that order with Camaro in front, which is all that matters to me. After that I turned on my BS filter and just heard buzzes and clicks, really wasn't interested in listening to it. As they say, talk is cheap, especially if you can't back it up. Which he wasn't able to do, maybe next time.
