16 camaro SS touchscreen radio doesn’t stopped working!
So my 16 2SS has had problems turning on since I got it. It gets worse on hot days and I live in South Florida. Last week the car had the same issue but this time it didn’t start. After that the touch screen went black. I went to the dealer and they told me my battery was bad. I replaced the battery $300 and nothing. I went today and they ran a diagnostic test $150. They say I need a new radio and since I have 37400 miles the warranty does not cover it. The price is $1000 for a radio. GM does not want to fix it for free. Any help please??? This is BS a 40k plus car with only 1400 miles over warranty and because of a dead battery now I’m screwed!

I had similar issues with my 2016 2ss. I had the Infotainment system replaced under warranty with about 25K miles on the car. I also had intermittent starting issues. Luckily my issues were covered under warranty.
Is your car an automatic or a manual? |

Automatic. I had the starter replaced last year. I just left the dealer about an hour ago and they told me that GM denied it. I called GM corporate and open a case. Hopefully I’ll hear from them with a possible resolution to this problem. It sucks that a billion dollar company is crying for $1000. Funny thing is I had a 2015 mustang and traded it for a 16 camaro. Because it seemed more reliable.
