This.. doesn't look to bad could do this since trufiber is close to me I could get a sheet of 1/8 or 1/16 stock and cut a cover plate instead of the black shield w rain guard.

I'm cutting today anyhow..

Lingenfelter made some kind of carbon fiber piece, they posted it on their IG yesterday. Sorry can't post the picture while at work.

Yes I saw that originally.. Brandon from LPE says that they are out of stock for the mean time, LPE and Brandon have been very helpful guiding my build. I was going to try to make something similar or combo of what redine did and not make as big of a cut..

FYI I just noticed that Edelbrock left provisions for port injection on the runners lol..

Not much progress..I had to work this weekend and wife got a flat tire on Saturday just when I started to work on the car. I had to take her a spare drag radial to get her to discount tire.. One cool thing is that I bought her 295 30 20 kumho sq setup they came w 10/32 and measured 8/32 they replaced the tire for free the manufacturer has road hazard the 1st 2/32 of tread for free.

I was able to find a roller bracket at work that mated perfectly to the sensor. I also took off those nasty 1/8 fuel lines Edelbrock had attached to the blower for vacuum lines. I used a longer bolt through the thermostat housing to attach the sensor. I was able to reuse the vacuum lines but on the longest line I picked up some hard vacuum line that worked perfect with the 90 degree boots on the OEM supercharger. (So I used 2 lines and boots from the other hard line of the oem).

The extension came in so so the Tmap is taken care of. I got it off Amazon from Michigan' Motorsports there on Ebay to. Apparently it's a Ford turbo extension lol. See pic..

All I have to do is mount the reservoir I'll weld the bracket i made to the stock Edelbrock bracket at work tomorrow. I got it and the reservoir from Edelbrock it came from a dodge kit. I believe it's the same one ADM uses now his early style had hoses out the sides this has one in the bottom now. If your not handy just get the kit from him. *I'm test fitting pic is for reference...

I'm not sure if I'll have room for my catch can in same area as the reservoir now. On another note plenty of room to get to the PCV valve without lifting blower or crushing the line..

I wish I knew wtf you’re talking about half the time !!!

You seem like you could do this with your eyes closed !!! I can barley change my own oil and put air in my tires.

for possible thread jack but I just wanted to let you know that Katech just posted this preliminary build with e85 on what looks like a crate engine LT5 for hot rodders and marine application.

I'm anxiously awaiting daily updates to your build.

Finally! got the reservoir and hose routing finished.. I made use of the factory hoses although to short since the 2650 is taller a combination of Gates premolded hoses did the trick along with two 5/8 to 3/4 heater hose couplers. The hose that comes off the intercooler pump is 3/4 yet the hose narrows to 5/8 for the oem blower manifold in other words, tapered down. The other hose is 5/8 all the way but the 2650 manifold is 3/4 and so is the reservoir. I made it look as close as stock as possible kept it away from the pulleys and out of the way for the filter box.

Parts used to mount the reservoir and mate to stock intercooler hoses.

Gates 19839 premolded heater hose
Gates 28479 premolded heater hose
2 5/8 to 3/4 coupler
2 24mm constant tension spring hose clamps
6 26mm constant tension spring hose clamps
Edelbrock reservoir*
Coolant cap C6 vette

This car will be running tomorrow...

1st startup... now schedule a tune..

https://youtu.be/O46IR6vIrdA

I was wondering should I do the DSX pump now before the tune or during the cam install. I was thinking later just because we could see what it would do on a stock fuel system but anyone that has gone to the trouble to do, pulleys, exchangers, porting, TB, and meth on the OEM supercharger most likely would of installed an aux pump. Also anyone that bought this blower and didn't want to do a cam but wanted max results would install an aux pump.

I would say that logic is sound.

Low side fuel pump to maximize the gains of a bolt on car and get the most possible out of the blower before fuel becomes a issue.

I'm hoping the 2650 turns out to be the sweet spot for blowers on a otherwise stock zl1.

The DSX fuel pump is only $1000. Most know (or soon discover) that the fuel system is the Achilles heel of these cars. Remove that hurdle now and proceed to share with us your findings. And thank you!

I’m kind of confused. With your Edelbrock supercharger are you not able to use your factory hood without modification?
