Hello all, i was wondering why my vehicle is throwing a cel code when i have a active catback borla attack exhaust i took it to the dealer and they couldn’t find the problem it’s throwing a chassis control module but it was replaced and cel still pops up later they told me i needed the whole stock exhaust back on for the cel to go away and wanted to charge me 3900!! just wanted to know what i could check or if there was a way to get rid of the cel without a tune thanks !Attached is dealers diagnostic lol

Do you have the AFM valves hooked up? If not you would need to license the chassis control module through HPTuners and turn off that function.

took it to the dealer and tech stated this in comments

CUSTOMER STATES CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ON
SCAN VEHICLE AND FOUND CODE P12FO CYLINDER DEACTIVATION
EXAUST FLOW VALVE STUCK OPEN TRY TO RELEARN VALUES AND IT
KEEP SAYING IN TRANSITION AND WONT LEAR OR CLOSE VALVE
FALLOW DOCUMENT # 3460638 IT TOLD ME TO REPLACE ACTUATOR
AGAIN SO I MADE A TAC CASE #9-11725376211 TALK TO TAC AND I
WAS ADVICE TO PUT A NEW ACTUATOR AND RELEARN VALUE
INSTALL NEW ACTUATOR AND WOULD NOT LEARN NOW IT WOULD SAY OUT OF RANGE. I TALK TO TECH AND THEY HAD ME SEND THEM PICTURE OF EXHAUST AND \N SCREEN DATA TO REVIEW. I SWAPPED ACTUATOR FROM BANK 1 TO BANK 2 WITH ENGINEER AND TRY TO TRY TO LEARN VALUES BOTH ACTUATORS NOW SAY OUT OF RANGE CALL TAC BACK AND TOLD THEM WHAT HAD HAPPEN THEY WENT OVER THE VEHICLE ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS FOR SYSTEM ACTUATORS AND FOUND
THE ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS OK. WE SWAT THE ACTUATOR TO A KNOW GOOD VEHICLE AND TRY WORKING THE ACTUATOR AND LEARNING THE VALUES THE ACTUATOR WORK PROPERLY AND LEARN THE VALUES. INSTALL THE ACTUATORS BACK ON VEHICLE AND TRY THE PROCEDURE AND VEHICLE STILL SAID OUT OF RANGE AND WOULD SET CODES P12F2 AND P12FF CYLINDER DEACTIVATION EXHAUST FLOW VALVE ACTUATOR PERFORMANCE BANK 1 AND 2. WE GOT A KNOW GOOD LEAN THE VALUE AND THEY OPEN AND CLOSE NORMAL NEED TO REPLACE EXHAUST SYSTEM AND RE LEARN VALUES ON
ACTUATORS

CUSTOMER DECLINE WORK AT THIS TIME

You have 2 options.

Option 1 - Plug the AFM valves back in to the harness and zip tie them to the chassis somewhere where they are out of the way(this typically works but can still throw a CEL sometimes).

Option 2 - License the chassis control module with HP Tuners and deactivate the AFM valves.
