corvette club and what they do!
we moved into our house 1.5 years ago. behind us are 2 vette enthusiasts with one owning an '06 z06 and the other is on his third, a 2021 c8.
the guy that owned the z06 bought it brand new. he was in his early 80's and passed a month ago. the vette was his last passion in life other than his wife/kids. as a fitting memorial, the vette club organized a meet, parade and picnic at one of the local parks with one of the sons leading the parade in the z06. we got to witness the parade form and leave and have to say it was pretty awesome to see people give up a saturday morning to join the event and support a die-hard owner...... never got to meet him and looked like he was pretty frail toward the end but he still managed to pull that vette out every couple weeks, rev the engine and take a spin around the neighborhood. |

That's so cool! He was lucky to be part of such a strong automotive fraternity.
