Transmission and Possible Electronic Issue

So I have roughly 20,000 on my 2020 Convertible 2SS. Recently the transmission will stay in 1st or 2nd when accelerating at WOT until it hits the rev limiter and the car falls on it face before shifting, Usually when accelerating from a stop light obviously. Just wondering whether anyone else has experienced an issue like this.

Also very recent the back up camera has started giving an error icon some times and sometimes the display goes away completely. Also seems like the sensors are not as accurate as when NEW.

Any thoughts would be great.

I'm assuming you have the gear shift in D and not the gate shift area, correct?

That would be correct. I have not investigated whether different driving modes effect it.

I have not had either of these issues on my 2019. Just about 13k miles so far. What driving mode are you in?

Okay after giving the dealer permission to drive the car hard enough to duplicate the issue they say there is nothing wrong with the car.

Even though it seems to have just started. They say that the cutting of the ignition is to protect the engine from over revving. Personally I do not buy into it as it is not a consistent issue.

Touring mode seems to shift properly every time, at least that has been my experience so far.

Sport mode is 50/50 chance of duplicating the issue with the same results in Track mode.

All tests on my part are performed in (D) to allow the transmission to perform shifting. What I did notice when it happens is that the traction control light will flash a couple of times and then a message appears on the dash stating "Performance Shift Mode"

Not sure if I am going to settle for their answer or just change the fluid and filter and see if that helps any. I guess if I am running it hard I can just know this could happen and shift manually but for the money I think it should function as designed.

Any mods? The car usually pulls a little timing at the shift, but it shouldn't just hit the rev limiter.

This happens to me all the time. I have not given it too much thought. I remember this happened to me when i took it for a test drive in track mode right off the dealer lot. 75 kms on it. I think that your dealerships advice is correct.

The only thing I have done to the car is pull the fuse for the dual exhaust. But that has been that way since day one.
