so posting a WTB is a BAD idea
Everyone,
Since I posted a WTB for a Rotofab intake, I've been contacted by about 3 new accounts wanting to sell me theirs with strange emails and "only take Apple Pay". I've gotten to the point where I tell the "seller" that they need to post a traditional classified ad here on the site with pictures and I'll show more interest. Then of course they never do and disappear. Just trying to help/protect those of us that just want to get good deals and help other owners. |

This should be a sticky, on other motorcycle forums I use, lots of users have been burned by this exact scam.

I've experienced the same thing. I almost pulled the trigger on an item but then didn't because the seller insisted the ONLY option for pay was ZELLE, nothing else. Plus there were some fishy things like the ones you mention. Too bad there are scammers everywhere.

this also happened to me and scammer wanted me to send him more money!
