Hi all, I'm sorry I have not been on in a long time. I still have not installed my light yet. I stopped looking for the VSS wire due to several things happening at home. Things are getting back to normal now so I will get back into this soon.

This is the same light I got. How did you tie your light in with the coil?

I added an obd2 interface on my M6 in that build thread. But i heard the GMR pickup works and is a cleaner solution.

Has anyone got the GMR pickup to work?

I have tried all 4 wires on one cylinder’s coil and couldn’t get the GMR (MSD 8918) to work.

Used to have a MSD shift light, hated it... Now I have this and love it...
I highly recommend one with a adjustable progressive setting.

Holley Sniper shift light

This unit plugs right in to the OBD2 diagnostic port and you can set the shift light to come on any rpm you want and can set each gear separately.
