I have mine at -2 in the back and they wear pretty even. I would definitely do -3.3 upfront

wear is much better if you can be patient with them coming up to temp...like 3 laps patient. After that you can go for it. Try it on lap 2 and they will shred prematurely.

@GunMetalGrey - That's the problem I'm having. Corded several tires on the inner shoulder. The latest was a set of 3Rs (2 days), but also corded Pirelli DH scrubs in 1.5 days. Earlier I had corded a pair of A7s on the outer with not enough camber, so I performed the obvious fix, but increasing negative camber led to sneaky bad inner tire wear.

I hear that the mag ride is too soft, and the sticky tires compress the suspension/bushings too much causing drag on the inner shoulder of the unloaded tire. I can buy that, but am I doomed to run on 200+ treadwear tires forever? Makes me appreciate my C5 with T1 springs and delrin bushings, totally even wear for a dozen days on slicks.

C5jakto do u have any suspension upgrades? On my earlier ZL1 (non 1LE), my wear issues became much better after I upgraded the rear toe arm to BMR with locking nuts. It is believed that the factory set up allows for toe deflection on track causing the wear issue on front. I am not sure about the technical logic - but in my experience the front inside wear did disappear after that upgrade

Update: Keep in mind this is a right turn track.

With the new front tires that I recently put on the right front tire was set at camber-3.2 and left was set at -2.9 and toe was at zero like before. Rear were set up as per camaro track prep guide. Yes I know for a track turn track this was improperly set up. I agree.

I hit a hard bump before the track day and allignment was clearly off but went to the track day anyway. I ran with the higher tire pressure and after the day things looked relatively good.

Got another camber setting change and alignment. Rear was left as per track prep guide but front i went -3.5 on both fronts with toe at zero. Turns out that bump made the allignment way off with front camber right tire at -3.5 and left -2.6. Tire were swapped to opposite side

Second track day 3rd session in I corded and was delaminating the inside of the left front tire. So the tire that saw 2 session of -3.5 corrded on the inside after 8 session. I used and infrared gun and it was clear that the inside of the tire was running hotter than the rest of the tire and the outside of the tire was the coolest.

So now with the higher tire pressures (32psi cold and 39PSI hot) I'm thinking I could run the camber around -3.0 on the fronts and get relatively even wear. If I got 16 twenty minute session on the front that would make me really happy.

The rears I am impressed with so far how long they are lasting. 15 session on them and probably another 8 session in them. Relatively lots of tread on them

I will also try and get a few heat cycles in the tires before tracking it and try and improve the life that way

Question related to the thread topic -

It generally seems that the SS 1LE gets more outside tread wear and the ZLE gets inside tread wear? Taking out the the MRC/DSSV differences, even with similar cambers it seems this way. The only difference I know of is the front lower control arms......are they causing the dynamic geometry difference?

I ran the front camber at -3.0 on both fronts and the regular track spec for the rears.

I ran tire pressures starting at 33PSI and had them hot around 38-40PSI....quite high in order to reduce outside and inside wear.

Made little difference. Ran about 10 sessions with the fronts and they were coorded on the outside and inside but the middle was good. This is definitely not a tire pressure issue nor a camber issue since it is wearing on both sides of the tire.

I do really just think the track that I'm at is brutal on tires and with the car being so heavy they don't last that long. Don't think there is more that I can do. I thought about trying to get them pre-heat cycled but from research it won't help prevent wear.

Rear tires seems to be faring far better. Am able to get 5 tracks day or more out of them.
