Question For people with windshield tint

I am highly considering putting a 35% ceramic tint on my windshield along with 20% around the car. For people with holographic display on their tinted windshield, does holographic display still work or is it way less visible?

The tint shouldn't affect the reflection of the Hud. but question, why would you want to tint your windshield at all? I have borderline legal tint on just my side windows, and it's a pain when it starts getting dark, I can't see anything out of them. I can't imagine having to put up with that on the front also.

I used to have it on my old car and I really do think it makes it all around more aesthetic compared to just tinting side windows

I tinted front windshield with 35% ONCE back in the day. Regretted it immediately. Now I only run Air80. But no, it will not effect your HUD

I heard the air80 is grainy at night, and has an orange peel texture. At night this scatters oncoming headlights and other ambient light across the windshield. Have you not noticed this?

I don't have "tints", but I do have tint
I am running 35% formula one stratos on side and back windows. Air80 is an 80% tint with excellent heat rejection. It's all I run on my windshield these days.

If it is grainy and orange peel, the installer applied too much heat to it during install. Properly installed it is perfectly clear with a slight bluish hue.

Earmark Car Audio in Plano, TX tinted my Corvette. They did an excellent job. Formula One dealer as well. Tell Ben that Preston sent you

It's been a few years since I last heard about air80 film. I always heard it was perfectly clear in the day time but had a light scattering effect at night. Good to know they got a resolve.
