Oil pump replacement parts to replace while apart
Hi I’m gonna have my oil pump replaced. Car has 7500 miles on it. What other parts should be replaced? Timing Chain /adjuster etc. car will remain stock but see track time. I’m not looking to spend extra money.
Thanks scott |

Thats easy...
With the labor you will already have in it... 3 bolt cam Cam upgrade, LME dog bone, Katech C5R chain, ATI damper, 14% OD pulley, Gates Green Belt, Larger front HX, Catch Can, Synergy 2 gallon fender tank... to name a few

Can you explain why you're replacing the oil pump in your 2019?
Preventative maintenance or did the oil pump fail? Tyrolblue67 |

Safe to assume you are upgrading to the Katech unit? Who is doing the work? and at what cost?

Mandatory to every build that happens on these engines (none are exempt) is the oil pump itself, DOD delete, LME billet tensioner (the chain is strong and stout in factory form), and appropriate cam needed to accommodate the DOD delete. Anything less is just asking for trouble down the road. Especially if you leave those stupid DOD lifters in.
