New car looks awesome. I really have been thinking about getting rid of my 2022 SS 1LE for a new ZL1, but I just dont know if I want to go from a $50k to an $80k car especially as I got 1.9% financing on the $45k car.

Thanks guys! I really didn't want to spend the extra money either to go from an SS 1LE to a ZL1, but I rationalized that with the Camaro going out of production it was now or never. I'm glad I pulled the trigger as the ZL1 is an awesome car.

Thanks Rob. I've got the smoked marker lights on my to do list. I have them on my 1LE. Black mirrors are also on my wish list. I'm trying to decide if I want to add black mirror covers that only cover the front of the side mirrors or go for new black mirrors, which are pricey and require more work to switch out. I probably won't wrap the roof, but I am thinking about wrapping the white part of the hood in a satin black like the ZLE. I saw a picture in the Summit White thread of a ZL1 with that done and I like the way it looks. Below is the thread to that page.

Have you thought about putting an SS 1LE wing on the ZL1? I personally think its the best looking of all the trims.

White was not my first choice. Rapid Blue was for a 23 and Riptide Blue was for a 24. However, I couldn't find either with both a manual transmission and no sunroof. I found a white car that met my criteria so I bought it. The more I'm around it the better I like the white, especially with the black trim/accents.

I thought about a 1LE spoiler on the Z, or at least something similar. I've had my 1LE for almost two years now, so I'm very familiar with the look. However, the way the 1LE spoiler mounts to the trunk lid is completely different than the way the SS and ZL1 spoilers mount. Also because I could order a Mosaic black ZL1 spoiler directly from GM that matches the other black trim pieces on the car I decided to go that route instead. The standard body color spoiler was too much white for me.

I had a 2017 White Z... and now have a White ZR2 Silverado so yeah I'm biased.

I personally have never been a fan of the hood wrap- I get why it's useful for glare prevention on the track, but I just don't like the look of it. I know a lot of people do, though. On white cars, I've always liked the look of black "accessory" parts, though. Spoiler, mirrors, splitter and other ground effects, etc. Just looks awesome on a white car.
