Depends on whether you want all season tires or not. Michelin PS4S are awesome summer tires.

Michelin or Continental is my suggestion.

As others have already stated, it really depends on the application you're looking for. If it's not really going to be on the track, PS4S would be the ideal choice...

Just remember to get a 295 front tire, not a 285. The sizes are slightly off from the factory tire.

Continental Extremecontact DWS06 Plus is what I have. I also had these on another car, they held up very well.

I just put on some Continental Sport 02. Very new and based on reviews, are as good as Michelin PS4S. Check out some of the recent Online reviews comparing the two.

Didn't really say if you are looking All Season, Track, Daily, etc.

What do you call better, and your intended use/driving style, etc etc
You're too vague.

I've worn through 2 sets of PS4's and they're great dry or rain. The Toyo 888R's have much better traction but howl like a 4x4 tire and are poor in the rain.

I didn't like the ECS, my 1LE developed a push on the front with that tire, the sidewall felt soft and as if it had to roll over before it would bite and even then it was mushy. I couldn't run the car hard like I had the SC3.

I went with the Michelin P4S.
Great street tire wet or dry.
I wouldn't hesitate considering the Continental Sports 02 either.
I may go with the Continentals next time just to try them out.
I am totally satisfied with the Michelins.
Although, I'm not a track guy.
Good luck with your decision.

Did you replace them with another set of SC3s?

I like the SC3's, decent balance between traction and handling.

Agreed! SC3's for me as well no matter how many sets I go through(which may not be many since I put about 500 miles/year on the car). As long as they keep making them and I need them, I'll get them.

I have heard from the FB groups — take that for what it’s worth — that on ZL1 OEM wheels, you can theoretically go up to 305/30/20 front and 325/30/20 rear without rubbing. Does anybody know from experience if that’s true?
