Congrats on the 2014 jtouch81! I have a 2014 as well, convertible for me and absolutely love it. Did you make out alright with the alcantara wheel? I have one coming in the mail along with the shifter and boot.

Fasnuf you are also my go to for videos on part installs for these cars. Appreciate your detail and information.

Very sharp, what tires are on the rear I like the tread pattern.

Thanks man! Yeah super easy to do.. my biggest problem was getting the air bag to release just because one side of mine was being stubborn but once that was done I was finished in 10 mins. I also did the shifter as well which took me longer lol I didn't realize you had to put the car in park when you went to put the new shifter on or the hole would not line up for the tiny ass screw.

Post some pics man I'd love to see your convert as well

BF Goodrich G-Force Comp... trust me I plan on changing them as soon as I can. Traction just isn't there. Since it's not a daily or anything I wanna go with something sticky.

Agreed it was easy. Like you said once you get the springs loose for the airbag, it’s a piece of cake. That torque bolt was on there good. Yeah I had to throw my shifter in 6th to get the gauges out. All in all, very easy and makes the car feel soooo much more premium. Should’ve been standard if you ask me. Here’s some pictures. Just recently put Borla ATAK on mine as well. Always a project going, but that’s the best way to live life!

Very nice! I know what you mean.. should have for sure come from the factory that way. Car looks good and I'm sure it sounds mean with that exhaust. Mine was little more difficult as far as the shifter since mine's auto but man would I love to drive this thing in a stick.

They're both great transmissions, I've had both. Just love any 5th Gen ZL1, Coupe or convertible, auto or manual. They're amazing and feel like something that won't be made again.
