Buy a ram if you want to see some QC issues. Mis matched interior parts. Mismatched exterior trim. Grommets not installed for most of the 19 YM production and incorrect literature with certain trims getting parts they do not have.

Really? I have a 2019 RAM 1500 Laramie and have NONE of the issues you list.

I’m speaking as a whole with many people having issues. . He made a statement to speak as in total. And if you ha a 19 ram with pano roof you have grommets not installed on the rear wall passenger side at a minimum. My limited did also.

5thgen ram forum is where I am a member since I had one and got rid of it after many issues. All of the issues I mentioned were mentioned there along with atsb for mismatched seating covers

Paint flaws, panel fitment, material issues, etc., etc. would be true quality control problems. Your issue can be reversed easily without incident.

I am also on that forum. I don't have the pano roof, or the 12" screen. Probably why I have been trouble free...

I remember when I ordered my Fifth Gen Camaro, it was built the first week of production. Day one for convertibles, in fact. Anyways, when the car was delivered, there was a checklist on the dashboard. The card had 132 checks for QC. It was a very well-inspected car.

That said, anything can happen on the production line. Take it to the dealer and fix whatever keeps you up at night.

Honestly, this one is not a big deal. They are about a 15 minute swap if you use your feet instead of your hands. I wouldn't be too upset, and would just swap them for the red ones like I did with both of my 1LE's.

Yes take it to the dealer for the recall/fix and move on! It’s not that big of a deal! At least they caught the screw up and are going to fix it free of charge.
