no, seems like they did it with a bunch of people who had autobot badges laying around.

I decided to overlay the RS fascia ontop of the SS to get a sense of what the car could have looked like, had GM decided not to go with the somewhat bonkers Transformers design.

The result broke my heart a bit because it actually looks really good. A lot of design elements on the RS align perfectly with where the SS fascia would normally break off into a random black void. Had they decided to keep the differences between the RS and SS more subtle like in the past, this is what we could have had...

Gone on the RS looks like.

Much better. Hey Chevy, this!

Eh, as a buyer currently in the market, I'll be buying an 18 over the 19. The only thing about the 19 that interests me in the "Enhanced PDR"... still looking through this thread to see if anyone posted details of that.

As I really enjoyed the 14/15 refresh, I really like this as well. 10-speed should be a nice upgrade. Should help sales. Good job Chevy.

Ok, so is the Camaro "refresh" set absolutely in stone at this point? Can GM still tweak a few things? Especially after hearing the same negative comments over and over. I think I could get on board with this - with the bowtie moved and painting the whole front fascia the same color.

I also need to see some other wheel options.

I don't mind it.
Maybe a bit more body color in the front grille. Lots of black plastic.

Tail lights are alright.

10spd. That's nice.

The LT/RS trims look alright...I guess. But that SS front end. What are they thinking?? Does the designer have some fascination with the base Dodge Charger? Don't they know that the higher trimmed, sought after Chargers have a different, and better looking front end?

Here goes:

New SS front: Horrid.
New SS hood: Nice, not sure I like it more than the 16-18, but it is more aggressive
New SS rear: Ehh...its different. It will grow on me, but is it any better than the 16 - 18 with the GM dark tail lamps? Not really.

I hate to say this folks, but I actually think the new Mustang is probably the better looking car.

Yeah...lots of you say "give it time...it will grow on you". Well sure...it probably will, but I will never like this car better than the 16 - 18. How do I know this? B/c I don't like the base Charger front end...never have. Also, I had a pre-refresh 5th gen. Once the 2014 came out I decided I didn't like it as much, and lone behold that opinion never changed (most of my gripe with it was the rear end)

How the designer can think the bowtie sitting down low doesn't look awkward as hell is beyond me. If someone hasn't started a poll on this yet, I think I might just do it.

Bright spots??? Oh yeah. That sweet 10 speed and the mirror with the screen.
Moving the bowtie and making it a flowtie through the core bumper is just another improvement to airflow, which it needs since they actually decreased the total front vent size on the SS. I agree that I can get behind the new hood, but unfortunately the lines don't match up with the '16 front bumper.

The rear taillights have another feature they didn't call out. The inner lens has the reverse light bar (obvious), but the outer lens blinker bar is a multi-bulb progression blinker, similar to the function of the Mustang 3 bar lights. That on horizontal bar has 3 or 4 modules in it that will blink from inner to outer edges. Such a small light inside there will look weird when activated.

The SS getting the dark 3rd brake light from the factory is a nice tough.

If they finally allow the SS 1LE to be ordered with the 10-speed, that is the only way I'm upgrading. I hate the torque converter and 8-speed in my '16.
