New 2016 Camaro mods...

Well did a few mods this weekend. Added JMS PEDALmax (the car wants to fly!!!), painted all the bow ties to black, added silver accents to the interior, blacked out the warning labels on the visors, painted the calipers red with G2 paint. More to go... CAI and exhaust hopefully this week. New seat covers...darkening the taillights etc...

Looks good. Are you going to tint the whole taillight, or just the white area?

Thank you Just the white area. The vinyl would not be able to bend around all the curves. The other option is to buy new tail lights??? Not ready to do that yet. Just bought the car a week ago. Lol I will try the vinyl tint first.

I hear you. I actually saw where someone makes and overlay for the entire tail light. Looks like it would be difficult to do though unless you're good at that kind of stuff. I actually did the white area myself, with a light smoke. Turned out nice.

I'm running the JMS as well. It is a really solid product. I've had it in over 2 years without any issue at all. Did you get the knob with it? I really recommend that because it gives you a lot of adjustability instead of just the straight 60 or 100%. I actually shot a little video of it on YouTube if you look up JMS throttle controller. Enjoy the mods car is looking great.

Looks great for painting the bow ties. I added black bow ties to mine too and although I thought about painting them, my GF bought me new ones and I installed them.

Yep I got the knob on it. I wanted to have that control and not have the throttle so touchy like I’m shooting out of a rocket! Lol but I like it!

Thank you guys!! I tried overlays on my bow ties like I did with my 2015 Camaro but I bought them from a different shop on line this time and did not like them at all!! So I went with painting them.

Got the car back after CAI and axle back exhaust mod. Holy moly the car sounds great!!!! My husband was driving behind me and said it sounded like a V8! He said it was the best money I’ve spent on the car so far. I love it! Vinyl taillight overlays major fail :( So I bought new smoked taillights and third brake light. Coming Friday. Going to attempt the new seat cover install tomorrow. Getting some tools I need for the Diode Dynamics sidemarker install. Eeek!

The K&N typhoon CAI and the MBRP axle back exhaust in black, PLUS the PedalMAX turns it up a notch.

Good deal. I recently did the Flowmaster American Thunder axle back, and Airaid intake tube with a high flow filter. Adding a little sound to these cars really amps up the fun factor. I was considering a throttle controller as well, but I think I'll get a good ported throttle body instead.

So what happened with the tail light overlays?

Sounds like a plan! I don’t regret my choice! The overlays just wasn’t smooth enough for me even after hitting it with a heat gun. So I broke down and thought well if I’m going to do it go the full Monty and order new smoked taillights and then I decided smoke it all out because of the exhaust being black it goes really well. I have to get a torx set today and I’m going to attempt the side markers and get them out. I realized I need to use a socket set to get in the small space between the tire and wheel well.
