I'd love to see what they design after the 2nd gen. We'll see if it's good or not though...

This is what I'd like to see. We will have had enough of the "retro" styling by then. Let's see something fresh and brand new.

Therefore, Speculation: Speculation: Speculation: and MORE speculation: The retro thing has pretty much run its' course. If I was to bet, I'd say the 6th gen will be an all new design. But nobody knows for sure, not even GM, as they haven't even finished a concept yet.

There are a couple pretty lengthy threads on this subject already. That said, nobody has a clue what the 6th Gen will look like.

What they have said - is that it's important to embody the spirit of Camaro in the design...it has to LOOK the part, otherwise - it's no good. They've also commented on the difficulty of this challenge...trying to maintain or improve on the effect of the 5th generation's design is going to be an intimidating job. But Tom Peters (design head-honcho) is a great man - he'll do the car justice and then some, I have no doubt! |

Anyone here any rumors regarding the reintroduction of the Chevelle into the model lineup?

I think that each generation of Camaro has looked pretty good in its time. Never loved any GM product I've owned, but damn they've looked great, and none more so than the Camaro.

I honestly think that the next generation Camaro should not go retro..... We just need to leave some stuff in the past. The next gen Mustang isn't going for the retro look and I think Camaro will follow.

5th Generation is my favorite. Then 1st Generation followed by 4th Generation. I don't know what GM was thinking with the 2nd and 3rd. Just my opinion.
