That sounds like the equivalent of supplier pricing in US, but its not that generous. Supplier pricing is a % of MSRP, as I understand it - it is basically getting the car at invoice. On a 48k car, its around $1500. GM employee discount is maybe double that. In december 2020, they had a 1SS on sale in Arizona for around 8-9k off sticker, year end clearance before any supplier, etc. I think they were asking around 32k listed right on their website, they even sent me a video of the car. This was when you couldn't get a Camaro in CA due to the copper free brakes. I almost pulled the trigger but it was in white they had a few other colors but all automatic. Would've Could've Should've!

The question you're asking is moot. If you haven't figured out by now, there's no supply - especially in California because the SS/ZL1 car was not available from 2020-2021 due to the copper brake ban. Before pandemic, 5-10% off msrp was out there. Given the inventory, MSRP plus supplier is the goal.

Totally agree here, the OP is not going to find any true discounts on them. Not Even going to be able to guess what they will be worth in a year or two. My advice to the OP is to order, pay MSRP unless you part of one of the discount programs and enjoy the car. Just look how many are on here waiting for an order to be built or even accepted …..your going to miss the window of laying your hands on one of these, this could be the last year for the Camaro. I can almost guarantee since you’re looking at the 1LE package no dealer will discount it, they rare to come by at this point …they know they can get full msrp or even mark it up should they choose by $500-1000.

Its strange seeing this for me also being near the GTA myself in Ontario i just got 6800$ off when i ordered my 2ss 1LE from the dealer for GM discount. They would not give an employee price on the ZL1 though. Once you make the switch from the 2SS up to the ZL1 they dont allow it.

But iv never seen a dealership here sell a car for above the Sticker price. As far as i know they are not allowed to here in Canada. Or at least iv never delt with a dealership that does this.

Currently they are making us sign a paper saying we have to keep the car in Canada for 6months and have 12000km on it before we are allowed to sell it.. Its to stop us from getting the cars and shipping them to the States for a profit.

I paid $69,000 in July 2017 which was about 5% below MSRP before taxes (7% Palm Beach County) and tag and fees ($300ish) which brought it back to within a few hundred of MSRP out the door. Given that there were only five ZL1 verts available nationwide in G7C at the time I was happy with that. Not all dealers wanted to deal; I did hear "I know what I got" once.

I see today's market for all V8 Camaros even more of a seller's market than what I found hunting for The Mistress, so you'll be lucky to get anything anywhere close to MSRP. Automotive supply will be short at least another year, and by then we'll be lucky if Camaros are still being produced.

If you see an opportunity, take it.

Which part of Ontario are you in? What is a 1SS 1LE going for there in CAD $?

I got mine for MSRP minus $500, since GM gave me a credit for graduating in the past 2 years.... I negotiated for the MSRP.... no allstate fabric cleaner markups.

Before taxes it was 50,530

My 2022 LT1 deal

MSRP/Retail $41,560.00
Total Savings + Rebate $5,264.30
total $36,295.70

dealer even ended up eating the $899 dealer fee they charge because of a paperwork issue LOL

Signed mid Sept 2022

There are a few dealers that will honor GMS / Supplier pricing (if in FL HMU and I can point you to dealers I have had luck with) even in a post pandemic setting

@Raptor5244 I was sad to learn GM isnt offering any GMS/Supplier discounts on any "V-series" (wanted a CT5V) or Vette (heard mixed on zl1)
