Your fuel injectors make that sewing machine clicking noise, or so I'm told. It would be really weird if you're not hearing that.

I put mine up for sale last week. Had a call in 2hrs. I paid $34,700 in 2013 for slightly used SS with 16,000km on it. I have an offer of $31K right now. Im on the fence about giving it up but feel I'd be stupid to not cash in while I can get almost what I paid 8yrs ago! I'm in Canada and the guy who gave me the offer said there aren't many avail and they go fast. I think my Convertible SS/RS with the manual is probably more desirable than the run of the mill coupe with auto. I told the guy I'm gonna leave the ad up for a week at least to see if I get my full asking price of $32K.

After 8 years I would cash it in while the market is hot and you’ve almost got all your original price back. I don’t believe this will continue and if you hold on you might not get anywhere near this amount. You’ve enjoyed it and move it on and let someone else enjoy it now. I’m not a expert so only take my comments lightly

Market ia crazy for sure. Dealer called me a month ago and asked if i wanted to sell my 2020 sierra AT4 back to them that i bought in the fall. I paid 48k for it with 3k miles. It had 12k miles now and they gave me 56k for it lol. I went to buy a denalli but it was sold as soon as i got there. Ended up settling on an slt loaded pearl white sierra and dropped my payment 150 a month. Worked out well

I turned down $35,000 last year for my 5th gen. I had 23,000 miles on it at the time. I wouldn’t take $60,000.

I must be living in the twilight zone. I have a '14 2LT RS w/45k up for sale. It does have a lemon law designation attached to it from California where it's from. Haven't been able to find out what the original owner's complaint was. The car has been perfect for me. I've discounted it to $16,500 for that reason, nary a bite.....

Lemon law history will scare off a whole lot of buyers. If it were me I would advertise the car as something like a buyback whose problems had been corrected before being resold and I wouldn't put this info in the first line of the ad either. I might not even use the term "lemon". Lots of good photos help too. Yes, I saw your ad on cars.com

Thanks for the feedback. Perhaps I'll edit it. In all fairness to any potential buyer, I'm not sure what caused the designation and if it was something repairable? Perhaps it was a squeak or who knows what. From what I've read, if a buyer presses hard enough, they can get any little thing that they notice about the car to be documented. Anyway, I appreciate the advice...

Yes, I bought mine early August 2019 for $25,000 plus points i used to fly to KC, Kansas to drive it home to Dallas, Texas. She has all the options except the two tome exhaust. 11,400 miles the day I picked her up, with 20,372 today.

Window sticker was $46,000+. Most likely could sell for $31,000-$35,000 today. Not for sale, ever!
