As promised, here is an exclusive first look at the 19x11” ET11 front and 19x12” ET41 rear wheels mounted on Chip’s beautiful ZL1 1LE. Coming in around 24lbs each, these wheels share the same size and offset of the factory ZL1 1LE wheels but at a significant weight savings.

Also, non-ZL1 owners should not feel left out. This SS 1LE stopped by to test out the max effort 11/12” staggered configuration. Additional negative camber is highly recommended up front for proper fit, otherwise it’s a great setup.

As a reminder, our Group Buy closes in just two days! Be sure to submit your official pledges before midnight of Tuesday, May 7th to secure the $300 savings with free shipping*. For any questions, don’t hesitate to contact us at groupbuys@apexraceparts.com.

This is a great update! Seeing the 11 inch up front and the 12 inch is Awesome. I was thinking the 12 inch would not fit on a SS. But this shows it fitting perfect.
Hmmmm. I got 2 days to decide......
But as others have said... WHY did you leave out Matte Bronze?? That would have sealed the deal ( for me and many others)

Could always do the Z06 Fender mod on the front to help hide that front poke.

Hi Everybody,

With just over 24 hours remaining, now is your last chance to join in on the Group Buy and lock in your savings. The deal closes on May 7th at 11:59 pm PST. For those still curious how the 19x10” ET20 front and 19x11” ET43 rear looks on these cars, it’s perfect! Pictured below is Jason’s 6th Gen SS 1LE with Eibach lowering springs, finished off with our 10”/11” staggered setup wrapped in 285/35-19 front and 305/30-19 rear Bridgestone RE71R tires.

For track enthusiasts, additional negative camber is crucial for better lap times and tire performance. Ground Control has recently come out with their adjustable Caster/Camber Plates for 6th Gen models to complement their current lineup of 5th Gen plates. Dialing in additional camber through a camber plate is much better than the factory spindle adjustment for two reasons. First, the most you can get from the factory adjustment is about -2.2* on a good day. While that is better than nothing, it pales in comparison to the -3* or more that the Ground Control plates offer. Second, and most importantly, dialing in additional camber at the factory location eats up in wheel/strut clearance like no tomorrow. When trying to fit big wheels and tires up front, it's crucial that you use plates for an optimal setup. For more information about negative camber and its benefits, please see the article below: https://www.apexraceparts.com/blog/t...gative-camber/

To place an order for camber plates for your car, please reach out to us via phone or email to sales@apexraceparts.com and we'd be happy to assist!

The fender mod is a great option that honestly I forgot about. Good idea

Matte Bronze wasn't done on this initial run because we didn't hear enough demand for it. But that will certainly be an option when the 18" race fitments come out.

Hey Everyone,

Now that the Group Buy has officially ended, I want to say thank you to everyone who participated and made this deal a reality. We finished up with 46 enthusiasts who will be receiving our first run of wheels produced specifically for your Camaro and couldn’t be more excited to see them out in the wild and on track.

As mentioned in a previous update, we are right on schedule for an early June delivery for all of the 19x10”, 19x10.5”, and 19x11” wheels. The 19x12” are slightly ahead of schedule at this time and should shipping in Mid July for everyone. Be sure to send us photos when you get them mounted to receive a free T-shirt!

- Happy Tracking from the APEX Team
