SO the dealership is giving me $500 due to the destroyed rim... I'm basically getting a set of OEM 1LE rims for $432.

I'm in. lol

What size tires do y'all run on the back? I already have the fronts. Do y'all recommend 305 or 315?

Sounds like you got a steal on the OEM 1LE rims. Awesome job.

I just wanted to chime in on the MRR replica 1LE rims. I have them. I put a set of the gunmetal grey on mine and the had a guy spray a glossy clear on them. Amazing look. Nothing wrong with them.

I see every 1LE owner on here saying they would never go aftermarket. Sure sure...whatever, but there is nothing wrong with the MRR wheels on a street driven Camaro. I'm running the 10" wheels on all corners, and they are no heavier (maybe even a tad lighter?) than my OEM 5 spoke rims were.

I plan on sticking with 305's in the rear personally. The slight width difference may be enough to cause some rubbing in the wheel well under certain driving conditions. Additionally with the amount of poke the rim/tire already has adding an additional quarter inch of tire would further exacerbate the rock chip problems the 285/305 already cause.

Wouldn't go aftermarket from the stock set of 1LE rims correct. From a 1SS or 2SS rim standpoint the MRR is a great set to replace but is not OEM forged quality. I think there is a difference in what you are perceiving 1LE owners are saying vs 1LE owners saying we wouldn't choose them at all.

Wholesale on the OEM 1LE rim is around $750 + a $50 core charge.

By you saying " I already have the fronts", what do you mean? Tire size, make/model etc......

You might want to make sure you're getting four oem forged rims for that price, if you did, go play the lottery while you're at it.

I have owned the MMR 1LE replica Wheels on my '16 SS and they look exactly like the originals. However they might weigh slightly more. But if owning original wheels means more to you OP spend what makes you happy.

I have both OEM 1LE wheels and MMR replicas. To my surprise, the MMR's felt noticeably lighter. I don't recall if I actually weighed them though.

OP, glad you got an OE set! That would be my preference. But, I have a MRR m017 set for winter non-track usage. No complaints with them, i think they are a good value for a non-track set. Although they are a little different in appearance, it's really close.

Before i purchased, my rough pricing estimates including tires, mounting, and tpms all installed ready to go was:
1. cheap as i can go: $1800
2. MRR replicas $2600
3. OE: $4000+

In general, I really wish an additional all season set could be a nicely priced option checkbox for track packaged, summer tired cars.
