I'd like to order a new (very specific) 2SS 1LE. Recommendation in the sticky was to go through Becky, but seems like she's not here any more?

Who should I use?

I called around to 10 or so dealerships looking for anyone that has a 21 allocation and to no surprise, everyone said no. One dealer said they weren't going to get the cars they ordered and would not bother taking my order at all. Most offered to put it in for a 2022 late summer.

One dealer was more helpful than the others and better with communication so I feel like if I order locally, it'll be with him.

I've never ordered a new car, so recommendations/explanations on the process would be helpful. I've read through other's experiences, and I see that it is not the best time to order one, but getting what I wanted wasn't a practical reality before now.

There is a lightly used one that matches my must haves, but they are asking $7k over MSRP and that feels like a seriously bad value, even if I'm able to get the car 6 months sooner.
