Beauty and the 5th Gen Camaro
I hadn't been over on Camaro6 in ages. No hate, because there are some very nice looking cars over there but...they STILL don't come up the what I think is becoming (if not already) the classic looks of the 5th Gen. In my opinion, of course.
Long live the 5th "Gin" !

Totally agree. I have never kept any car as long as I have kept my 5th gen and although the 6th gen (as well as the Challenger and Mustang) have their plus points, I'm still not tempted to trade. This is one of GM's truly great designs and I think it is absolutely on it's way to becoming an icon.

The 6th gen Camaro is definitely the more dialed in for track use, with newer technology, lighter weight, and more power from the factory. However, if I would ever buy a 6th gen Camaro it would be in addition to my 5th gen. OP, like you said, the look is classic and IMO will continue to be a classic style. I get compliments all the time on mine and never tire of looking at her. Mine is 12 years old in August and she has a few bumps here and there because she does get driven, but I try to keep her looking as nice as possible. No trade for me!

I soooo agree with ALL the above!! 5th gen all day long. GM did this one right for sure. My baby will be 11 years old this July and I would NEVER trade her or sell her for anything. She is a dream come true from my childhood days when I used to "customize" model cars when I built them to make them my own, and always wished and hoped that when I grew up and got all the "working life and family life" out of the way I would own something this awesome and nice!!! Living a dream!!!

I agree the 5th Gen is an instant classic in so many ways. I don’t think it will ever look dated like most other cars do over time.

It will be 12 years for me this coming August. My SS is 99% stock but it gets stares and compliments wherever I go.
I keep it detailed and after 64,000 miles and 18 oil changes I still consider my 5th generation SS a very special car.
