Wire coming from battery?
Probably a really easy question to answer for you guys on the forums but I believe my ZL1 came with a battery tender of some sort from GM. But what does it plug into and or what will i need to buy to make it work?

This connector looks remarkably similar to the one on my (very high quality, strongly recommended) TecMATE OptiMate trickle charger/battery tender: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003UANXCE
The "standard" GM battery tender with part number 84020223—that is actually a CTEK unit—has a different hookup, so I don't think that would have been it.

Definitely looks like a connector to a Battery Tender/Trickle Charger. I would follow the wire to make sure it’s hooked up correctly to the positive and negative terminals of the battery before use.

Definitely a battery tender quick connection. They are almost all pretty standard and will fit most of the battery tenders with a quick connect on the market. Would have not been installed from the factory so make sure its connected to the terminals correctly before you plug anything in to it (even though most tenders will not charge in reverse polarity).

Definitely a tender plug, just likely not the OEM one
The CTEK plug will look like the first one I have shown below while yours looks like the 2nd pic which is a Sears Diehard brand that I have on my wife's SUV

Had to add this also, without the other charger end you just have the wiring hookup and will still have to buy a trickle charger anyway, best off to buy one you like and replace that wiring with the one that comes with the new one

Thanks for the response everyone, it came with a car cover so maybe the previous owner stuck it in there because i can't find it anywhere else in the car. I am almost positive it mentioned something about a charger for the battery on the window sticker.
