LSA Swap on Dyno

Its been a process to this point, but FINALLY first start up and I am STOKED how well it went. Literally what you see in this video is the actual first start up. I am shocked how quickly and almost effortlessly it started. Few minor trips to Advance for extra hoses because we wanted to route the pump slightly different than the instructions recommended, its such a TIGHT fit in that bay. I am lucky to know and get the pleasure of hanging out with Prbeauty as well. I am not a huge fan of how I routed the hose from the heat exchanger back into the bottom entry port of the blower...it just looks like a BIG a** hose sitting there. Suggestions? Tia.

Did you use the ADM instructions?

A lot of how it’s routed is detailed there. I’m now running 3 heat exchangers, dual varimax pumps since I wrote the guide. Lots of info in my build...

The guide is in my first post:

Congrats!

That's so Awesome. I want to do this conversion, but it's going to be a bit down the line. I have so many things I want/need to do to my car still...like the rest of us.

I subscribed to your YT channel. I thought I did it a couple months ago, but guess I hadn't. Gotta support that Camaro content!

Awesome conversion! Well done.

I did mine this past spring, I’m also not a fan of how congested the bay is. I’m thinking of moving the coils from the valve covers to free up space. After that there may some ideas that pop up once there is more room.

Awesome.. keep us posted!!

Might be ok or just the view but that clamp back by the intercooler reservoir looks like it is not tightened?

Good luck with the tune!

If you don't mind me asking, what did it cost you total (not including tuning) for the conversion?

Congrats!

We did use the instructions that came with the kit, very detailed. We followed them step by step. I don't recall it exactly stating which way to route the hose, and to be quite honest I remember the picture being the only way it shows the "hoses are to be routed". I could be wrong. Or maybe I over looked it. I will check out guide in your thread and compare it. There is SO MUCH ROOM in front of the heat exchanger. I am amped by that space.

The kit I bought was I think $3300. That had everything minus the intake, supercharger itself. Intake was 300, supercharger was I thinkkkkk $3500. I bought it about 5-6 months ago, so I am really bad at remembering what I spent on it. I was at my tuners, spending money on my CTS-V tune so I wasn't paying attention to what cost what at the time lol. Overall I'd say I'm at like maybe $7500 ish. I am sure I am forgetting something. BUT LET US NOT FORGET. I just had this damn motor rebuilt bc it lost oil pressure at 41k miles.
-_- So add that in... and watch the tears roll.

Small update! Tune is scheduled! I have a few codes I saw while waiting for tune that I ran with my scanner. P07E8 I can't seem to find anything on. Anyone have anything on this? The only other code that matters is P0A4A. The other codes are items we deleted that just need to be deleted in tune. TIA

I would love to do this on my Sedan. When I go from the ZL1 to the Sedan there is such a big difference. The Sedan is only 390rwhp and the ZL1 is 523rwhp. I like driving the Sedan more because it has a lighter feel to it.
