Procharged ZL1?

So I was looking at the new C7 Z06 and I ran across an article about how, at stock boost levels, stock timing, and pump gas...the procharger F2 made 115 more HP than the the stock blower. The setup for the Z06 looks phenomenal. What I can't seem to find is any information on a procharger setup for a ZL1. For you real car guys...what do you think the benefit would be..is it a viable option? Opinions please.

havent seen it done yet. Most either port the blower or go with the Heartbeat, if not twin turbo but no one has ever went procharger route

Not seeing that kind of a gain at the same boost, timing, fuel, etc. the only two ways you would gain "peak" hp would be for the parasitic loss to be that much less or the intake air temps to be near freezing, and that still wouldn't do it.

I think twin turbos are the way to go, (I am biased) as they free up hp from the crank and have way more cfm capability than the heartbeat.

A F1-a Procharger would produce the same power, anything bigger than that might cause fitment issues, supporting mods.

I'd be much more interested in seeing a 2.9whipple, 3.4kenne bell and big twin screw Swaps... The heartbeat creates good power and better cooling than stock SC, but I'd really enjoy seeing what a 3.4 with supporting mods would throw down. Might not fit under the stock hood but a copo cowl hood with ZL1 CF insert would look Radical

I seem to remember that the firewall was modified to fit the big wipple as he was running the sand rail version I believe.

I remember all the facebook updates when New Era Performance built that car. Lots of firewall and cowl modifications due to it being a rear inlet rather than front. Also the stock hood did not fit anymore.
