-why 500 miles...?? break-in is 1500 miles...weird!!
- wonder if its complimentary...dip-sh*t salesman couldnt give me a straight answer...

The 500 mile is for the C7 LT4, not the ZL1 LT4. The salesman told me the same thing and I had to remind him the Corvette is the dry sump, not the ZL1.

Well, Zeros do have their usefulness. I have always used them for target practice.

Just remember, behind the scenes, it's pass /fail.you rate the salesman at 100% perfect or zero. Anything you put under 100 is equal to a zero… Very unfair system.

Supercharged motor, I’d get the oil changed at 500 miles personally. Yes it is complimentary.

the above was his email reply to me....

I would too, but I happen to wait until 1600'ish after breakin so I could redline it without worry. They told me to wait until it says 20% Oil Life Left. I just laughed.

Changed mine at break in, ~1500 miles.

I always thought it was a joke for them to ask for a 100%. I'm in no way malicious but if you don't do your job, which by the way isn't rocket science, then I'm not giving you 100%.

No one should be giving good scores if you got bad service. You just have to keep in mind that if he forgot to give you a toolkit and you give them a 98, it's as bad as if he complexity misrepresented the price, etc. there is no middle ground, and that's what sucks.

But make a lousy system work for you. Give him 100%, then call him and tell him you gave him that 100, but you still are'nt really happy about this or that, and the guy will remember you for life.
