LT2 Intake Manifold Modification Questions

I recently bought an LT2 Intake Manifold and am looking to do the modifications to it on my own. I feel comfortable with everything but the brake booster fitting, are there any detailed videos on drilling the hole for the brake booster fitting? I'm assuming I'm not supposed to drill all the way through the outer wall, if that's the case are there any tips for drilling into it?

The hole goes into the manifold. I wouldn’t let the drill but go any deeper than necessary to breakthrough the wall of the manifold. I measured 4-1/4” before the drill would come into contact with the #7 runner.

I put light in #8 runner so you can see it lighting up the booster hole.

I’m sure the drill bit will try to pull through when it breaks into the inner wall. That’s why you should use the shortest bit possible.

I let GPI do the mods on mine.

I wonder what kind of fitting that is that GPI used and what connection to the OEM brake booster line? About to order the black 90" one and the 1/4 drill bit and 7/16" tap kit.

Just finished whizz wheeling that crap off the bottom and the nub. Now to get the bit and tap and install the elbow. Gonna have Pray port both my 95 and the LT2.

no, I figured that if you have to clearance the bottom of it to fit the hp pump then the foam would only make it worst

Removed foam and use a sheet of that temp barrier stuff. Like an edelbrock air gap manifold...

I don’t have foam under mine but am curious. I watched the YouTube specifying where to cut but don’t want to risk vacuum leaks. I hate vacuum leaks and the concept of retightening.
