Not bad and a good oil, Walmart in my AOR has Mobil1 0W-40 EF in 12qt bladder boxes for $49, I keep a couple of 5qt empty jugs around to refill.

RockAuto.com has Mobil 1 0W-40 ESP Formula for $6.45/qt, why not just use what the manufacture recommend?

I use whatever I find cheapest on amazon at the time. Usually one of these:

Look. I am 6-06. Well over 200 pounds. Have owned a shitload of sports cars. Not mechanically inclined at all. Ordered a 2SS 1LE I will never see. Paid a $150 plus tax in a C7 Grand Sport for that Mobil oil. Will do so again. Not rich at all.

True, but is that not good enough for the LT1?

21 1SS 1LE factory fill and recommended is Mobil1 0w40 dexos 2. Rock Auto has the lowest general price and JEgs where I got mine from has the best sale price when u can catch it.

If that includes shipping then that is indeed a great deal!

Not to beat the horse even more dead, but you can absolutely run 5W-30 Dexos for daily driving. Those 0W-40's that aren't Dexos aren't approved for any warranty coverage. Just sayin.
