headers retune

currently have a flex fuel tune on my 6th gen camaro. Going to be adding headers sometime soon. A family member has HP tuners so I was thinking of buying the credits and doing the tune myself but I have never tried it at all before? How difficult is it?

Not difficult at all if you understand tuning...if you don't then it's going to be a fairly long process. There will be a laundry list of ECU codes for the o2 sensors you will need to set to "do not report". The torque limits will need adjusted to keep from the throttle from closing, and you will need to log MAF error against a wide band and likely adjust the MAF calibration to get the fueling right. This won't be a 1 day process...plan on weeks off and on when you have time to log data and make small tweaks to get the setup dialed in. You might find it more cost effective to buy a "base tune" from somebody like Brett @ Pray Performance and finish tweaking it in yourself or just let him remote tune it start to finish.
