New AA ZL1 hood - Page 4

Yea I saw that one before, I didn’t like it that much! I’m done waiting and not getting responses from AA on top of their parts fitting like shit. I have the zl1 side skirts and zl1 rear diffuser and they both are a horrible fit.

What's so yuck about it? Is the side vented hooves too much or the glass is too small or...?

They’ve responded to 1 out of 1 emails from me so I’ve never had the need to blow them up with 4 messages. And I also own/have owned multiple AA parts and no issues with fit when they’re installed correctly.

I've had issues with their products but I expect quality.
Hopefully theyre ready to respond when the engine heat starts to take its toll on the seams of this hood.

I'm currently out in the cold with their customer service

So you have the zl1 side skirts and the zl1 rear diffuser? When a Company tells you to expect an item on a certain date you kinda trust em, am I right? So me messaging them asking when they expect it to be in after there “expected date”I don’t believe it’s excessive.

I had the side skirts and the front lip spoiler but sold them because my driveway is too steep. I plan on getting their diffuser once I go quad tips. I also have their rear window louver. No problems with any of them, but I understand if not everyon shares my experience.

And that was their expected date, I’m sure. Things happen my man. When I asked them they said they were shooting for SEMA or right before which is the end of the month.

Don't like the shape of the window at all, and too many gaudy vents.

I like it and think it looks cool. I have some AA stuff myself and would have no qualms about buying more.

I will wait for early adopters to let us know how that smoked section holds up under daily use. I would probably get the whole think PPF'd including the underside of the smoked section if PPF can handle under-hood heat levels (I assume it can but would still look into it).
